» Didn't get the POA @ GRCA but may do PT more conveniently @ HD or BPS stuff for the summer, OK?
» Sequestering myself away from everyone until Sunday, have a convoluted assignment due by 10am Monday and though I swore not to go last minute on it, here I am ... frak. I'll manage especially when I volunteered without thinking too much ahead of time to help load 50-60 mattresses from the closing down Out of the Cold location to the one up the street... is cool, for great cause and help is needed.
» Sunday get to see mum... she's recovering quite well too! :)
» New stuff for the orifice, er office http://www.joethepeacock.com/2009/03/aww-c ute-paperclip-is-bone-wait-wtf.php
» Helped out with another ladies self defense seminar... got taken down a few times, all for a good cause and showing all the while size doesn't matter, it's skill and guts. Met some great instructors who have also had their personal run-ins with the guy downtown that we've learned continues to do some not-so-good-things... darn.
» Yay, no more snow, it's officially camo pants season, meh I declare it such so it shall come to pass. Tomorrow it's USMC desert MARPAT, Saturday it's UK DPM, Sunday maybe USA-ACU or MultiCam... I friggin love this stuff as I can treat it like crap and they last and are damned comfy to wear. It's funny, this type of clothing was the pre-cursor to the 'cargo pants' craze and I was wearing green and tradititional camo coloured pants with everyday assortments of T's and other tops and was sometimes mocked... heh, full circle and being ahead of the game, so to speak.. meh. $20 for something tat fits my large frame and lasts more than four months.. I'm there dude :P
» My first free weekend after the semester has already been tagged... I'm eyeballing the Canadian (GI)Joe Meet downtown Hamilton May 2nd. I was able to go on a fluke last year and had a great time, my Snake-Eyes costume was a hit and got to meet Larry Hama. It'll be a rare occassion to make me want to come into that city again - last time I was there it was the rained-out Pagan festival.
... More to come later... sleep now.
